Sports Science covers a broad range of fields including human physiology, psychology and biomechanics, and their relationship to sports performance, health and well-being. It aims to develop knowledge and understanding of the basic structure and function of the human body and to discuss how this knowledge can be used to improve health and/or performance. Aim of the sports scientists are to provide evidence-based methodologies by cutting-edge science to help athletes reach the very pinnacle of human performance unique to their genotype-phenotype and sport. It transforms the performance level of a sports person by uncovering critical, yet often overlooked, areas of athletic performance. Moreover, the sports science experts analyze athletes through a scientific lens to uncover biomechanical or cognitive weaknesses that may be holding them back from unlocking their true potential.
