	Welcome to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Memorial Govt. Arts & Science College, Balussery Alumni Association! Founded in 2021, the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Memorial Govt. Arts & Science College, Balussery Alumni Association (GCBALUMNI) creates and maintains a life-long connection between the college and its alumni. GCBALUMNI is registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act, 1955. Mission The mission of the Association is to advance the strong relationship between alumni and the College, to keep alumni informed, and create a network facilitating them to remain engaged with their alma mater and help shape its future through the Association’s activities. Objectives to promote contact and communication amongst members of the Association and between the Association and the College and other academic bodies/organizations and to provide a forum for the members of the Association for exchange of experience, information and views; to assist students and scholars of the College and members of the Association in their academic pursuits and professional careers; to raise funds for the College and to take up any other activity in furtherance of the objectives stated above. The College intends to gather the support of the alumni to develop and sustain strong ties with each other and with the college. The alumni association promotes interaction among alumni in an area and provides newcomers with valuable social and professional contacts. Membership also provides a way for alumni to help each other as well as prospective students, current students, and young alumni who seek guidance in pursuing their education and in starting their careers. This would certainly provide all members the satisfaction of having developed and implemented programs that promote the interests of the College and its alumni.

The alumni association has a very significant role in projecting and carrying out the mission of the College. The other roles are, the enhancement the reputation of the College, funding activities, recruitment assistance, organizing alumni meets, seminars, and other events.
